Whats New in Visualyse Professional?

Visualyse Professional users who join our maintenance and support program get access to our ongoing product improvement program. Every year we send our users regular CDs containing the latest version of Visualyse Professional as we include extra features and clear up any issues identified by customers.

In recent upgrades, Releases 12 and 13, we have included a number of new features, including:

  • Updates to ITU-R propagation models to include P.452-10, P.526-7, P.618-7, P.530-9, and P.676-5
  • Updates to ITU-R gain patterns to include F.699-5 and F.1245-1
  • The orbit model has been updated to use JD 2000 as the reference time
  • Updated the tracking strategies to allow you to enter different angles to avoid pointing towards satellites of different constellations

Previous upgrades have included major features - such as providing an interface to allow direct access into Visualyse of satellite parameters from the ITU-Rs SRS database. This update is described further in the Visualyse World section - see the link for GSO Operators.
